Finally, Yahoo launches its geo-targeting system

Yahoo has finally added a geo-targeting feature for its search ad placement service. The new tool will enable Internet ad campaign managers to adjust their ad investments by carefully selecting specific areas that their ads are aimed to reach.

Yahoo's new geo-targeting feature will utilize users’ search queries, IP addresses and other information that pinpoints their near-exact location and to better determine which ads Yahoo Search will deliver them.

Yahoo's new system is designed to offer Internet advertisers more relevant clicks for their ads and eventually more sales since these campaigns are assured of reaching more targeted audiences. More here...
